A Perfect Match?

My mother allowed me to play with makeup when I was about eleven. This isn’t such an odd thing for kids whose mothers use makeup themselves, but my mother never did. Still doesn’t.

The one thing she never really let me play with was foundation. She always said it was too much makeup — that I should look more natural. As a result, my makeup philosophy tends to fall along the “natural” line. I stick to natural looking colors for the most part, and I hardly ever wear foundation.

Recently, I tried out Rimmel London’s Match Perfection Foundation. I’ve worn it a few times and I don’t think it works for me. Foundation is supposed to even out your complexion, but when I put it on, my skin tone still seems uneven. The cool thing about this foundation is that it’s got built-in SPF 15.

Perhaps I’m not just not the ideal foundation customer. If you want to test it out, the foundation is available at major drugstores and retailers for $8.99.
