I’ve been in a period of transition lately and haven’t been able to post as much as perhaps I would have liked, but I’m back (though on a slightly altered schedule). Full Body Detail will now post once per week, and the day will be consistent starting next week. Sorry to leave you guys hanging.
For this week’s post I’m going to explain to the world about Aloe dranks (yes, dranks), which I love, but which I also want to clear up the facts about because I use the empty bottles for my water and constantly get asked what it is. Here’s what it is:
A juice drink, that is extremely refreshing, and approximately the consistency of very thin jello, with thick crunchy pieces of pulp (about as much as orange juice with pulp). It tastes vaguely like white grapes, but that’s only for the “original” flavor. Other flavors include peach and strawberry. You (you meaning you Temple kids) can get it in a huge bottle for under $5 at Koja Grill, as well as at the Foodway next to the Dunkin’ Donuts on Cecil B. Moore.
It’s hard to explain, but it’s definitely good for you. Aloe is a natural detoxifier and has been proven to aid in digestion, improve circulation, speed healing, dilate capillaries and aid in cell growth. 2-4 oz shots of it daily is a great boost for your system, and one that I definitely recommend.
Try it. Now. Go.
